What a day the other day was. What turned out to be a day of street styling actually turned out to be a day of street styling and meeting new photographers for us.

Kendra’s Night Out Challenge x NYC
Kendra Thornton, a travel expert who has been featured on television shows like Tyra Banks and Nate Berkus has invited me to take on her “Kendra’s Night Out Challenge”. Kendra regularly shares her tips on planning, packing, and numerous other aspects of travel, and she is thrilled to be starting a new project on fashion as related to travel. She personally loves my individual sense of style and I am STOKED.
Here’s a bit of the Challenge so your guys can get a better take on it:
Clothing that Fits My Trip to New York
I am going to New York City with some of my girlfriends. Therefore, I have created “Kendra’s Fashion Challenge” in order to have the right wardrobe when visiting the Big Apple. I need fashion help, since most of my time is spent looking after three young children who are always on the go. The fashion counsel that I will be receiving will be when we go to The Standard High Line Hotel for drinks and a stupendous meal.
When it is time to eat, we will be going to the Standard Grill. This popular restaurant is an ideal place for us to have New York food with a type of new American flavor. Cocktails are always in style at the Standard Grill. While these places are nice, I am looking forward to eating in the main room, which has white table clothes, red leather cushions, amazing windows and an old-world theme. Not only that, but the ceilings are vaulted and provide an open look. The floor features real American pennies. The establishment itself is truly memorable, but the food is extraordinary. Meals that can be purchased are served with fresh ingredients that include fruits, vegetables and seasonings. All of this gives each dish a more distinct taste. The ingredients are teamed up with steak that comes from beef in the United States and it gives an authentic American flavor to each meal.
I learned about our destination choice and other things on our itinerary by going to Gogobot. This Internet site had a lot of information concerning places we should go. Not only that, but there were comments and ratings from expert travelers who provided information on what to see and do in the Big Apple. It is great to be in style when we are seeing a show, eating a wonderful meal or having drinks at The Standard High Line Hotel. Having some excellent outfits will enhance my time in New York City. It is awesome to be with my friends, but having the right clothing enables me to have fun. After all, New York is the place to be.
HERE’S MY LOOK:
It is officially Summer and white should be all over the place. Instead of doing vibrant colors that will make you feel sticky when the night is over, I thought white would be the perfect color for a NYC night in The Meatpacking District.
You will be through with seeing dresses all night and I personally love straying away from the crowd so this jumpsuit by ASOS collection ($95.27) will give off a sexy , relaxed, and up keep with the season look.
Baby Blue has made a huge impact this past winter and is continuosly growing rapidly so instead of doing the same white and gold or white and silver combinations, ( as I love my color pallette in 3’s), I chose to go with white, blue, and silver. Baby Blue heels hasn’t been this touched since the 90’s; it is a fashion statement overload so for this look I chose the Rainbow Gladiator sandal in baby blue from TopShop ($90.00) . The material is leather and the heel is only 3 1/2 inches just high enough to Walk around without losing circulation. You’ll be by the water anyway it’ll be lovely.
To top it off (because your neckline will be so bare) , a bold piece is much needed! I am in love with anything that hugs my neck, so an exaggerated choker is necessary. I chose the Chains and Stones necklace from Zara ($29.90) and matched it up with the Gems Earring ($19.90) . Both pieces are flossed out with white, crystal and baby blue gems. They both also have underlying accents of metallic so it meshes well with the accents of your shoes.
Lastly for jewelry I chose the Helena Circle Cluster Ring from nOir Jewelry ($100.00) . This ring is so pretty and it doesn’t show off too much, it’s the final touch especially when your fingernails are covered in Dior Vernis Trianon Edition Nail Polish in Porcelaine ($24.50) .
Finally nothing closes the look more than hair and make up. It is hot right now so keep that hair up in the trendiest and sexiest style right now: The Braid Crown. The lack of mystery is out the door when your hair is down like everyone else’s. And to really add a summer glow top off your lip with a nice creme lipstick in either an apricot by Makeup Forever ($20.00) or a peach by Revlon ($7.39).Remember to bronze your cheeks and keep the eyeshadow as earth toned as possible :)~~

My Accessory Mood.
All I want are some Cat Eye Shades, Platform Anything, and Scissor Earrings ( because I hardly ever keep up with them) 🙂
But keep in my mind..this is my mood today. Tomorrow could be different.
I am cheap but I always look for deals with expensive shit (Or I at least try to) . But I’m in love with sunglasses from Lazy Oaf.
I look for shoes via Asos, UrbanOG, and Motel Rocks,
And Unique Studs I usually find on Ebay from like Japan.
